Testing is finally over! It was driving me crazy! Thank God its finished. And the P.L.A.Y center theater group finally performed our play, "Spells of Catastorphy[sp?]", and it was a success. We were asked to put it on again for a larger audience, but our teacher/ director still hasn't given them an  answer. Man, the years almost over, and every thing's going well so far. We [the band] got the results from the competion, and we won 1st place! Now we're gonna play against the local highschools. Our director has no doubt we can beat M. High, but we're gonna have work our asses off if we wanna beat Inglewood High. They won the Battle of the Bands

Well, today was, you guessed it, the Redondo Beach City, Middle School music competiton. Last, my school blew everyone out of the water, our most popular song Iron Man by Black Sabbath (spelling?). This year, we worked on harding songs, cuz our band director, Mr.Gamet, expected the other schools to try & top us. Last year, we performed 1st, and got a VERY good response. THis year, however, we went on, 5th? I'm not sure, but we went on, did our thing, got appluase, and a coment that wasn't so great. One of the other schools called us ghetto! We're the only school composed of African-American & Hispanic students, plus we're from Inglewood. The
